What this place is
Bella Vita opened on Buffalo Ave in 2015. It is a salon in the LaSalle section of Niagara Falls, owned by Jamie, Nicole and Rachel, who all still work the floor themselves. It is woman owned and independent, not a franchise. Jamie alone has been doing hair for 23 years. Most of the people who sit in these chairs have been coming for years, and most of them ask for a stylist by name.
We do cuts, color, perms and relaxers, conditioning treatments, braids, updos and waxing. We do the weddings and the proms, and we will travel to you on the morning. We do the eight year old who has never had a haircut and is not sure about any of this, and we do the grandmother who has had the same shape for thirty years and likes it that way.
How we work
Every appointment starts with a conversation. You call, you tell us what you are after, and we set aside the right amount of time with the right stylist.
That matters more than it sounds. A full foil needs longer than a retouch, and thicker hair needs more color than the menu price assumes, which is a conversation worth having before you arrive rather than after. It also means we can tell you when someone has a cancellation, or point you to the stylist who is strongest at what you want.

Buffalo Ave runs along the upper Niagara River through the LaSalle section, a few blocks east of LaSalle Waterfront Park. Most of our clients come from Niagara Falls and Wheatfield, and a good number make the drive down from Lewiston and Youngstown for color.
